  • Earliness: early
  • Pod colour: yellow

The yellow pod bean forms dwarf plants, strongly bushy and raised, with a low tendency to lodge. It has straight pods with an intense yellow colour that is attractive to consumers. Particularly suitable for manual harvesting, it is characterised by its exceptional tenderness and flavour. The pods are well filled with flesh of an attractive sun-yellow colour without any tendency to fibrousness of the seam and the formation of a parchment lining of its interior. Intense flowering combined with a strong root system gives a variety with very high yield potential. The variety is highly adaptable for early spring and autumn production in greenhouses and under cover. It tolerates large fluctuations in humidity and temperature very well and can be grown successfully in difficult habitats. The beans are recommended for multiple hand harvesting.
