Breeding work is carried out in specialised laboratories. We have our own greenhouses and breeding fields, isolators and experimental plots. Our contacts with a number of research institutes and cooperation with friendly breeders means that this innovative approach contributes to the annual launch of varietal innovations.
Our seed plantations are located in many parts of Europe. This ensures that we have an annual supply of the highest quality seed. All batches are rigorously tested several times in both our own and accredited laboratories before they reach the customer and further into the field.

Purity and genetic uniformity
Before we give you our seeds and before they reach the fields, everything is carefully checked for varietal purity in special chambers with controlled climate and day length. We sow the seeds under strictly controlled conditions to obtain fully developed plants as early as January. Some of the seeds are sent to research centres in the southern hemisphere, where the plants are evaluated in the field.
